After the initial use for a weekend we bought an additional set to use no matter if at home or work. Safe and convenient, the Spectra CaraCups makes milk collection a breeze. But all that aside, I recommend the CaraCups as they are very comfortable and a nice option for active moms!īrandy from North Vernon, IN United States I would say my two biggest dislikes is there is no way to measure the amount of milk you are producing without putting it in a freezer bag or milk bottle after pumping because there are no measurements on the cups like they are on their spectra bottles and they are bit more cumbersome to clean due to all the little pieces sitting in the cup with the milk. For me, the cups have slightly less suction, but I just need to turn my vacuum setting up on my pump and problem solved.
Getting the cups in place using a nursing shirt can be a bit tricky to ensure they are lined up properly to eliminate leakage. They are more discrete when pumping than the typical models, but people will still know your pumping as you still have tubing attached from the cups to the pump. These are great if you still want to pick up your baby or do more activities without being as restricted.
